Huntsville Hospital Foundation often receives calls and emails from parents whose children asked for donations to our hospital on their birthday, instead of presents. We're grateful to the children who celebrate their birthdays by giving back, so now we're making it easier than ever! By joining the Huntsville Hospital Birthday Club on Online Lifeline, your child can make a difference on their special day.
Here's how it works: Fill out the information below concerning your child and his/her birthday. Be sure to choose whether your child's birthday will benefit the Melissa George Neonatal Memorial Fund (which benefits the Neonatal ICU) or the Pediatric Unit (you can choose Pediatric ICU, Pediatric ER, Child Life or the St. Jude affiliate clinic). You can even add a photo of your child, to personalize their page! Once you click on "submit," you will receive a confirmation email that contains a link to your child's Birthday Club page. This page will include the list of affordable items that people can purchase for Huntsville Hospital in honor of your child's birthday.
The Foundation will send you insert cards to include with your child's birthday invitations. The inserts will explain to your guests how they can visit your child's page and purchase an item in honor of your child's birthday. All purchases through the Huntsville Hospital Birthday Club are 100% tax-deductible. In fact, anyone who makes a donation will receive an email that they can print for tax purposes, as well as a letter from Huntsville Hospital Foundation.
